Dear friends,
I know it has been some time since my last release, a little over a year now by my count, and for that I apologize. Joshua River and The Art of River jumped ship last September, leaving our home of two years and headed for the powdery sanded beaches of Pensacola, Florida to make our way in the world. While a general artistic hiatus ensued we entered the service industry in an attempt to find a day job, or rather night job, that matches our personality a little better. We have found success in this industry and in the course of the year have managed to clear out any and all remaining debt.

I know exactly how you feel about having lost touch with everyone. So have I. I sometimes miss when I was 'active' and had formed small connections with my watchers and vice versa. We'll bring it back. Haha
Indeed. I am actually still good friends in real life with people I met through deviantart - but there's a small handful of two. Of all the other people I enjoyed talking with, batting ideas off of, and trading doodles with, I don't speak with them at all, and coming back on here, discovered most have moved on with their lives. I even found out that one of them had died. Its wild, I'm actually starting to feel like I've been around awhile, and I still really haven't.
